Does solar work on cloudy days in the UK?
Yes – modern panels generate electricity from daylight, not direct sun. Output is lower on overcast days but still meaningful year-round.
Do I need planning permission?
Most domestic solar installs fall under permitted development. Listed buildings or conservation areas may require consent – we handle the checks.
Can I add a battery later?
Yes. We design all systems with future battery integration in mind so adding storage later is straightforward.
What happens to excess electricity?
You can export it to the grid via the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) and receive payment per kWh from your energy supplier.
