Assessment
We review your current solar set-up (or design a new system), your usage profile, and your tariff to size the battery correctly.
Compatibility check
We confirm inverter compatibility and cable routes. Most modern inverters support AC-coupled battery addition without replacement.
Installation & commissioning

Do I need solar panels to have a battery?
No. A battery can be charged on cheap overnight tariffs (like Economy 7 or Agile Octopus) without solar. Combining both gives the best financial return.
How long will a battery last?
Most modern lithium batteries are rated for 10+ years and carry manufacturer warranties to match. Capacity fades gradually — typically around 80% at end of warranty.
Will my existing inverter work with a battery?
In most cases, yes. We carry out a full compatibility check at survey stage and advise if any equipment needs changing.
